Establish Trustworthiness: The first and most important thing to remember is that you want to establish trust among the people you are networking with on social media sites. If your potential clients see that you are very active in social networking by consistently sharing your knowledge on real estate investment with your contacts, then you will be considered a valuable member of the social community.
Define Your Product or Service: Defining your real estate investment product or service on your social media page will help to create an awareness of your area of expertise. You can communicate trust in your product or service by providing key messages about what it is that you do. Be sure they are written in an informative and concise manner. You also need to determine what formats such as text, audio, or video you will use to deliver key messages about your product or service.
Create the Content: Create quality content that supports the key messages you have provided about your real estate investment product or service. The content must be high quality if you are to gain the respect and trust of the people you will be networking with.
In addition, you must keep your targeted audience in mind when creating the content. For example, you specialize in offering seminars to other real estate investors; do not offer content that is unrelated to what you do. Stay focused and relate the content to your area of expertise. Remember that social media cannot be haphazard if you are going to be successful. Like anything else it has to have a specific plan and make sense to your audience.

Start getting to know others and offer to promote their content in exchange for promoting yours. Make sure the other person's content is of high quality or this could jeopardize your reputation. Although the Internet is a huge community, word will still travel fast in a social networking community.
Promote the high quality content that is on your social networking page and seek out other people that could potentially influence your product or service in a positive way.
