Real Estate Website - "about You" Isn't That Important

In the latest NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers asked actual home buyers what they were looking for when they used the Internet for real estate. The respondents are actually people who bought home. So you should better watch out if what are these people habits and desire in searching for homes in the internet.
- 95 percent of all the asked home buyers said that they used the internet to search for the homes that they bought, and just only 5 percent of them who search for homes for sale through a real estate company or an agent.
- 79 percent of home buyers are first looking for the listings when they visit a real estate website, and 21 percent said that the second thing that they were looking for was the general area information.
For the Realtor who owns a website must remember that home buyers are visiting their website not for the purpose of knowing about you or your company, they just in there to look for that important information such as home listings and general area information. "About you" can be easily found by them if they are ready and interested into.
