People should make sure that the lens is not placed with the inside out as this might cause irritation and blurry vision. Not only should people know how to insert the lens but they should also make sure to remove it in a proper manner. Any mistake could easily cause the lens to fall from the hand and they can lose it forever. Hence, after people buy contact lenses, they might require some time to get used to wearing and removing them.

Over the past few years, the demand for contact lenses has increased a lot. This could be seen from the fact that in the year 2004, around 2% of the total population, or 125 million people around the globe, were using contact lenses, and this figure increased in the coming years and hence the returns that the makers were getting through them were also increased. In 2010, the market for contact lenses had reached to a point where they were earning around $6.1 billion around the globe. This shows that a lot of people now prefer to buy contact lenses instead of glasses.
