Reasons For Increased Demand Of Properties In Mysore

There are many reasons, which make Mysore a hot destination for investing in real estate

. Proximity to Bangalore is one of the chief reasons. Another good reason is the availability of good communication from and to Mysore. The city of Mysore is well connected by road and railway network to major cities in the country.

By Road:

National Highway NH 212 connects Mysore to the states border town, Gundlupet. This highway connects to towns and cities of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The State Highway 17 links Mysore to Bangalore. This highway was upgraded in 2006 to a four-lane highway. This facilitated the transportation between these two important cities. This also reduced the travel time and thus indirectly increased the demand of properties in Mysore. There is another expressway planned between these two cities.

Besides these, other important roads connecting Mysore are the state highways 88 and 33. Buses of the state government and other private companies connect other towns to Mysore. Even around the city, buses run and connect important locations. Traveling by buses within the city is cheap and quick. There are also auto rickshaws that are another means of commute within the city.

By Rail:

Railways network also connects important cities of India to Mysore. There are three railway lines from Mysore that connects to Bangalore, Chamarajanagar and Hassan. The first line was established between Mysore and Bangalore in the year 1882. The railway lines connecting Mysore are single track, thus it means faster connectivity. There are proposed plans to double the lines between Mysore and Bangalore. Indian railways operate the trains connecting Mysore.

The fastest train that connects Bangalore to Mysore is the Shatabdi Express. The timings of the train are as such it suits the business travelers.

The Mysore Airport also came functional in October 2010. The airport was unused for many years. But after some initial flights, it was again closed due to low profitability. The nearest airport is the Bengaluru International Airport.

The well-connected Mysore is surely a delight for the investors. The rising demand of land and constructed commercial properties in Mysore by companies is a good sign of the realty market of the city. The congestion of companies in Bangalore and the unavailability of land make the demand of Mysore properties more.
