If you go to college, you should check out the bookstore on campus for clothes that feature your school's name and mascot

. Even if you do not currently have a lot of school spirit, there are some good reasons to buy these types of garments anyway. Get an idea of why you should at least buy a school-themed shirt before you graduate.

It may not make sense to you to wear clothes around campus with the name of your school since everyone knows you go there anyway. However, you might be surprised how comfortable they often are. For example, many students find the workout shorts many university stores sell to be perfect for the gym, class, or even just hanging out in the dorm. Your parents are likely proud that you are in school, which is why they would likely be happy to wear a shirt or shorts proclaiming the name of your university. This is especially a good idea if your college has some well-known sports teams, such as a football team that is doing well, since your parents can show their support through the clothes you get them as gifts. Your friends and siblings may appreciate the same kind of present.

Finally, even if you do not think you would see much benefit from school-themed clothes right now, you will be happy in the future that you bought them. This is because you will be able to look back on them with pride, remembering all the good times in college. You may even still be able to wear them in the future, but if not, you can pass the garments onto your children while getting them excited to go to college themselves.

Whether you buy university-themed clothing to wear, give away as presents, or pass on to your kids, you will be glad you bought it. You can choose from more than simple shirts, shorts, and socks.
