If you don't like something, you can then make a change and that change could benefit many people. Many hate living in another country where they don't agree with something and they aren't a citizen there so they can't even vote to change a thing.

Others have found that they like being a part of something different. While your country where you were born is something you might be very proud of, there are some of you who might find that this might be what you call as home. There are many who have traveled here and have met people. They are more than willing to call this home. Therefore, to keep roots here and to feel like they really belong, they have taken such the test.

There are many who have found that they can find more work when they become a citizen by taking the Canadian citizenship test. This is because they are legal and they can show proof that they have the rights to work at such locations. There are many jobs that don't want to have to go through all the red tape which is there when hiring people who aren't legally able to work. There is a lot of paperwork and a lot of taxes for which they have to pay.

The last reason to take the test is just so that they can fit in. Some people in Canada view you as an outsider until you prove that you know the culture inside and out. Being a citizen here is a wonderful thing. There are lots of responsibilities, but when you do this, you have people who will do their duties as citizens to do the same for you. This will make you feel as though you are truly home.
