Reasons We Need an Election in Ireland right now!

Reasons We Need an Election in Ireland right now!

For centuries we fought to release the grip of British tyranny and now look at us we seem to have embraced tyranny once again. The difference this time though the tyranny stems from within which may be even harder to fight off; but where there is a will there shall be a way.

For an Irish government like Fianna Fail to present a budget to the country right now when there is a strong possibility of an election in the New Year is tantamount to butchery of the trust bestowed upon them and stalks of vanity. The Fianna Fail government authorized abandonment of bi-elections around the country indicates that the government is aware of their delicate fractious situation. Thus are withholding authorization effectively to stymie the wellbeing of our country restricting advances which are relevant to the rural communities; in effect all of us.

The fact that the courts have ruled in favour of these elections is truly magical for the country because now it means we may progress in an orderly fashion. You see we now have it within our powers to reduce the salaries of government as they are among the highest paid in the world which makes no sense. We also have the opportunity to address the frivolous behaviours of accounting procedures that allow the elected representatives to complicate their expense accounts.

We have 15% of the population on or below the poverty line and if this proposed idiotic budget removes more spending money from these people then we shall face a worse catastrophe than the famine that has plagued our history books. It should not be left to charitable organisations to carry the load as these amazing institutions are supposed to compliment not be the main event.

A nation is not measured by its balance sheet alone but by its treatment towards the less fortunate within its borders as all 100% deserve equal opportunity irrespective of the prevailing winds and all deserve the opportunity for work and equality. Many politicians seem to continually ignore this theory and for some unknown reason are able to pull the wool over the eyes of the electorate; how tragic. Please let us not follow the boorish example of the British government who are oblivious to the needs of workers and decent hard working people who just want an opportunity to live and thrive plus see their kids succeed to enjoy a future without emigrating.

There is a wickedness oozing through the world that because of its materialistic viewpoints is domineering the essence of humanity and this coldness requires to be eradicated. It is not the misfortunate who have created the economic crisis but the supposedly chosen few who have elevated to high positions. Sadly those exalted ones have shown their true colours and would not a welcome flag make.

This government has apparently but repeatedly and arrogantly cared more for protecting their own personal financial wellbeing than the electorate. One has to wonder is this the primary reason they have wasted tax payers money on an institution that should have been allowed to go wade the waters with their own resources not that of the country.

We are in the best situation possible for drastic changes to how our country is run and we as a people should demand thorough transparency and please let us not hear this in a platitude type of format. It is evidenced in all medical tests that if a people have to survive on restrictive diets then the cost to the country shall multiply significantly to cope with the damages especially with heart disease, cholesterol, diabetes and the list continues. Not to mention feeding the revolutionary frenzy that we in modern civilisation were aiming to prevent from reoccurring; seems we missed the boat on that too. Wake up politicians; wake up.

If this is the Ireland our heroes died in 1916 for then they are lucky not be witnessing what has happened to their lovely country. How sad or even tragic that in less than 100 years of our formation we are worse off as a nation than we should be. We have so many natural resources, so many people who truly desire to flourish but sadly the bowl has been removed and we no longer have the opportunity to hold our hands out and say: please may we progress with dignified fortitude!

Thus in converted language we could suggest a more conciliatory approach which would add confidence to the people and this will be interpreted by the advisors that the country is heading in the appropriate direction. It would appear that all the market wants to know is that the outlook appears to be confident with a magically improved consensus by the people that favourable climes reside within our country.

Ps: let us use the finances we have to produce employment then the returns to the exchequer will reap amazing rewards producing long term benefits that even the treasure at the end of the rainbow could not compete with.
