Are you ready to change from the old Windows, to Windows 7? Not a 100% sure. What if it promises to deliver upgraded changes to Vista? Delivered and promised, changes have been made to the new Windows 7, with new useful features that are efficient and user friendly. With a new look that is simple but yet workable. Most importantly the problems and annoyances that came Vista, have been fixed.

The new Windows offers a more controlled and user friendly interface, that works effectively and takes out all the annoyances that Windows Vista had. Windows 7 has given the System Tray and taskbar a complete work over, even upgrading the new look it gave to Vista. It has revamped the taskbar by reducing the clutter by allowing you the user to keep the icons straight. The icons can also be controlled by the owner from operating the system by shrinking the icons to the a small size or by bringing the labels back to its original size. This new taskbar creates new freedom, as it keeps the programs that you use on a regular basis by the user moving it from its previous home. So, the popular programs you use are all in one place, and the user just needs to click on it to open it, which saves a lot time.

In the previous system to have a live preview of an app on the taskbar, you can only have one at a time, when you have multiple windows open. However this Windows version is done more effective and efficient: as the pointer is hovered on the icon, the thumbnails of the actual app's windows appear into a position above the taskbar, so it is easier to find what you need.

All though the interface changes are only small, they could have added them on quite some time ago. It now lets you move windows to either the left or the right and it will be now be the size of half your desktop. Push one of them into the other edge of the screen and you'll be able to occupy the side. So it makes it easier to compare two windows of content easier. If you move a window to top of the screen, it will reduce to give room for all the other displays.

Window 7 has now removed the sidebar that was part of the Vista setup so, the gadgets (apps) can now sit on the desktop. System tray now gives you more control, than Vista did by allowing you to put what apps go there and which don't need to be there. The other good thing about Windows 7, it now gives you an Action Center. This feature makes the alerts pop up's more manageable, so that the alerts wont pop up but will be stored so that you can view them when you need to, and gets rid of that annoyance of always popping up as a reminder.

This makes Windows 7 a very new and improved version of its previous successors. As they seem to have listened to the complaints over the years, and worked on the changes to make it more sufficient and workable for the everyday user.
