This she realizes when her daughter refuses to invite her to her own wedding. She gets a reality check and vows to do everything to gain her trust and love back. Portraying love in a very different yet very personal way has been a long practiced tradition in France. This has actually helped to make films and celebrate love internationally. From recent French movies, "Bluebeard "is worth mentioning in this category. A very sweet, melodious film about two sisters who are actually made to read the fairy tale of this name and then the plot bends with them encountering the similar fate as the princess in the story. It is the juxtaposition of the reality and the tale, that is done fabulously in this locale which otherwise would not have been really that splendid.

French movies from 50's onwards have painted a very different yet truly remarkable cinema.
