Google's Android phones are next popular to Apple's iPhones and thus both iPhone development and android development market is booming all over the world. Both the giants are using the Apple's official Siri icon and also one that is attempted to mimic the UI. The next app we will talk about is called Siri for Android as picked up by The Next Web pointed out giving a clarification that it is nothing but only a simple Siri icon acting as a shortcut to Google's Voice Actions. Also as per its name Siri for Android instead of the developer's name and this gives users who are unaware with any better the impression of it as some type of official Siri port. Well there are no words on whether both the giants are planning to take any actions or not. Some apps that were controversial or say knockoff are removed from Android market and App store is common but it is clearly a big concern for some easy going review policies Android is following.

Android market is many Siri-like voices activated assistant apps out which most are available for free and uses Google's excellent voice recognition system. They cannot be misunderstood by similar to those of Apple's virtual flunky but of course can give it a try.
