Its disgusting if you think about it

Its disgusting if you think about it. Human beings making up false claims to sue other human beings and in a lot of cases robbing them of everything they have, all in the name of greed and an attitude of I pay so much I deserve some of it back. Not by ruining the lives of others you dont. It makes me sick.

Car insurance premiums are already very high especially for new drivers but they are set to rise again because of a greedy minority who have no respect or common decency for anyone. The number of actual reported incidents has fallen yet bizarrely the number of people claiming to be hurt has increased by 18 per cent. As most would guess they are generally for whiplash. Luckily for the good between us things are due to change, if the Government are to be believed. At the moment all you need to do is go to your doctor, say your neck hurts due to an accident you were in and the doctor will sign saying you have whiplash. Whiplash is incredibly difficult to prove and the law is set to change so that you have to prove without doubt, you have whiplash. This will see the number of claims fall dramatically and this stupidity end.

Its no surprise the biggest claims seem to come from the poorest areas. In the top ten, 9 are Northern cities or towns, with only one being from the South, with East London at number eight. Liverpool is the worst. In Liverpool a massive 52 per cent of accidents brought injury claims. It is no coincidence however that these areas have some of the largest amount of claim management companies, which is worrying the IFA.

The United Claims rates are now worse than those in the United States of America, whose citizens are notorious for submitting false, or at the very least tenuous, insurance claims.

The IFA have said the increase in costs to insurers brought by rising injury claims is likely to hike drivers premiums. The Government and other authorities need to start getting tough on claimants who are clearly after a bonus pay cheque. If the vehicle wasnt seriously damaged and after a scan on the occupants, there are no visible problems, they should be told to take a hike.

Premiums so far this year though have shown a slight reduction, which will be music to motorists ears. Lets hope this continues.
