Chillers are used in many industries like plastic where they are used to cool the hot plastic, cooling equipment in manufacturing processes, remove heat generated by printing rollers in printing industry, cooling paper when it comes out of the oven etc. They are used in electronic machines like MRI and PETI and other latest diagnostic tools in hospitals to internally cool them. They also can cool the lasers and the source of their power. A chiller can be adjusted for its flow, pressure and temperature. The controller present in it helps in setting these parameters. Most of the parameters are fixed for certain industries but individuals can change them as per requirement.

These chillers are a costly investment. Hence it is very important to maintain them properly. Replacement should definitely be avoided. Major chiller repairs include replacing only the components like plate exchanger, condenser, OEM compressor, valve replacement and so on.
