Refusing To Simply Settle

Struggling to make my dreams a reality has never been easy

. There is like this guarantee in the universe that if I start toward chasing a dream,. obstacles, trials, roadblock and a various assortment of obstructions are going to come my way. On some days I am barraged with every reason in the world to quit. I get unsolicited advice from friendly foes who encourage me to lower my standards, and forfeit my dream.

This only encourages me to raise the bar higher and expect more of myself. The pain of struggle is harsh, trying, and at times it can seem cruel and impossible. I really don't blame people who look for an easy way, I can't judge someone for giving up because let's face it, achieving the dream is hard.

It is so much easier to surrender and convince yourself that you didn't want it anyway. I guess I am just not good at lying to myself in my heart of hearts I know what I want..it's just so dang hard to achieve. I don't mind failure, but I am not about to flirt with the grief of regret.

That is why I continually do what I need to do to get what I really want. My prayer is to fight the good fight, no matter how many times I fall; I will keep getting back up. I refuse to stop until the mission is complete and the dream is reality.Refusing To Simply Settle!
