Reiki - Bringing Healing To A World Of Pain

Though I'm fascinated by Reiki, I should admit

, that I'm no skilled in Reiki. I've got had it used on me and loved it. But I think about this blog a lot of of an "exploration" than "professional-ation." But Reiki is one of those things I've got had done on me some times, in times of stress. And it's created a difference. And then I've got said to myself "I'd like to try to to that more often." Or maybe "I might like to be told how to try and do that." But then life goes by and I never do it.

But clearly there is one thing to this Reiki thing. Something otherworldly, supernatural, or holy, if you will.

I bear in mind the first time that Reiki was done on me. I was sitting during a women's cluster circle. I was in angst over some piece of my past that was coming back up- some piece of trauma. It absolutely was triggered, I feel, by something happening with my alcoholic then-husband. In thinking about it, I became distraught. If any of you have ever had severe childhood trauma, you may know what I mean.

My breath began coming back in gasps. There was no air, and my chest was caving in. In a rapid I was back there, in the terror of what had happened to me. I used to be six years previous once more, and I used to be dying, just as I had been scared of death then.

Luckily one of the girls within the cluster was a Reiki Master. I didn't understand this. I just felt some hands on me. One came to rest on my back and the opposite on my chest. The hands were heat and the hands somehow brought peace. It had been a peace I had seldom felt- a peace that swept over my whole body with a warmth that was palpable. Suddenly I used to be terribly a lot of alive. In an immediate I was alive, and it absolutely was all as a result of of those peace-bringing hands.

I do not recall any words being spoken. If there have been words, they were unimportant. There was one thing very powerful happening inside of me, and it transcended words.

Later in reflection, I believed to myself, 'if this is what Reiki is, it's amazing.' I even thought 'this is often one amongst the most powerful things I've got ever experienced. Everybody ought to be doing this and everyone should be learning this.'

I never got back to really brooding about the ability of Reiki until now, penning this blog. I have since realized that my contribution in life may be a totally different one than Reiki, although I build personal use of it after I can. My distinctive path is to teach people so they can be healed from, or avoid, addictions.

However I write this blog in case perhaps your path, is to bring this healing to people. If you think that will be your path, I invite you to begin the method, and not to wait any longer.
