Relationship Advice For Women - 3 Types Of Relationships That You Need To Avoid

People can get themselves into bad situations even with the best of intentions

. When most women go looking to get themselves into a relationship, the last thing that they are looking to do is to find themselves in an unhealthy predicament. Yet, that does happen more frequently than it should. If you have been stuck in a bad situation before, then you know exactly what I mean. And, if you want to make sure that this does not happen to you as best as you can, then read on.

I can't say that you can keep yourself from getting into a bad situation with 100 percent accuracy. Sometimes, you come across a guy who just knows how to say and do all of the right things for a while and by that time, you are caught up in something that you feel you cannot get out of. However, when you are clear on what to watch out for, you give yourself the best hope of avoiding bad relationships as much as possible.

Here are 3 types of relationships that you probably want to avoid:

1) The co-dependent relationship.

Most of the time, when the word co dependent gets used, it is in the context of drugs or alcohol abuse. In relationships, though, it can also mean when two people lean on each other too much. This may seem like a good thing, but quite often it's not. It can lead to social isolation, it can lead to feeling like you cannot live without the other person, etc.

2) The 'always on his terms' relationship.

What I mean by this is, when everything has to be on his terms and never on yours. This can usually be tied to a control issue. If you are dating a guy and it seems like he always has to be the one who is in control, then you may want to watch out. The more control that he seems to need to have, the bigger of a red flag this should be for you.

3) The relationship with the guy who can never commit.

When you know that a man has commitment issues, this should definitely be a red flag that things may not work out the way that you want them to. There are lots of reasons why a guy will have this kind of an issue, but one thing is certain. If you want to be in a long term, committed relationship... this is not the guy who will give you that. All he will give you is headaches and heartbreaks.
