Relevant Knowledge And Description Of Strontium Ores
Statistics of the strontium production was conducted based on Sr (celesitite) ores and Sr compounds
, mainly strontium carbonate. (1) Strontium ores The output of strontium ores was very low before the 1970s, but a noted augment has been registered since 1969 when strontium ores were applied to the production of glass for color kinescopes. The output of celestite rose by about 10 times in the period from 1968 to 1995. China started to produce strontium (celestite) ores in 1972 and the Nanjing Strontium Mine in Jiangsu Province and the Celestite Mine under the Hechuan Chemical Plant in Sichuan Province were the only two State-operated enterprises for the production of strontium ores in China at that time. The former had a yearly mining capacity of 20,000 tons and dressing capacity of 10,000 tons while the latter 10,000 and 5,000 tons respectively. After 1985, village and township enterprises and privately-owned small enterprises began to carry out exploitation and mines were built in (at least 7) Sr ore localities in Sichuan, Jiangsu, Qinghai and Hubei Provinces. No exact figure about the output of these mines has been available since they were not brought into line with the State plan. The output of Sr ore has fluctuated very much in China because the village and township and privately-owned enterprises have rather unstable output and meanwhile the output is influenced by international markets: 22,700 tons in 1991, up to 51,700 tons in 1994, down to 17,300 tons in 1995 and 10,500 tons in 1997 (Table 3.21.3). 1.3 Output of strontium ores and commodities(t) (2) Strontium compounds Japan and the USA are the major countries for both production and consumption of strontium compounds in the world. Their strontium commodities are produced entirely by processing Sr ores imported from international markets. In 1995, the yield of strontium carbonate of Japan and the USA made up 47% of the world"s total and they directly imported great quantities of strontium compounds to meet their domestic demand. In China the major chemical product is strontium carbonate. According to statistics, the productive capacity of strontium carbonate was 16,240 tons and the output was 11,053 tons in 1988, amounting to about 9.7% of the world"s total and ranking fifth in the world after Japan, the USA, Mexico and the former Federal Germany. In 1997 China yielded strontium carbonate of as high as 51,200 tons, seeing a marked increase compared with the year of 1988.As the professional manufacturer of complete sets of mining machinery, such as

jaw breaker, Henan Hongxing is always doing the best in products and service. 2.2 Distribution of Production Productive bases of Sr ores are distributed mainly in Sichuang, Jiangsu, Qinghai and Hubei Provinces, especially the Hechuan-Tongliang area of Sichuan Province and the Lishui area of Jiangsu Province. The key State-owned enterprises are the Nanjing Strontium Mine in Jiangsu Province and the Celestite Mine under the Hechuan Chemical Plant in Sichuan Province. In addition, there are some township and privately-owned enterprises, such as those in the Quxian-Dazhu area, Tongliang, Dazu and Hechuan of Sichuan Province, Lishui of Jiangsu Province, Dafengshan of Qinghai Province, and Huangshi of Hubei Province. These enterprises are not included in the State program, but are expected to become important production bases of strontium ores or even key enterprises because they are all based on potential rich strontium resources. According to incomplete statistics, in 1989 there were no more than 20 factories of strontium carbonate in China. Of them only the Lishui Chemical Plant in Jiangsu and the Hechuan Chemical Plant in Sichuan are specially-designated factories of the State, which possess a production capacity of 3,500 t/a and 2,000 t/a respectively and the others are small factories with production capacity of about 1,000 t/a: 5 in Lishui County, Jiangsu (No.2 Chemical Plant of Lishui, Honglan, Qunli, Chanshan and Xitang Chemical Plants) with a total production capacity of 6,500 t/a; over 10 factories in Sichuan (e.g. Hechuan Nitrogenous Fertilizer Plant, Chengdu Nitrogenous Fertilizer Plant, Chemical Plant under the Chongqing Chemical Designing Institute, Tongliang Nitrogenous Fertilizer Plant, Tongliang Xianfeng Chemical Plant and Luzhou Strontium Carbonate Plant) with a total production capacity of at least 8,000 t/a; Gangkouzhen Chemical Plant in Zhangjiagang City of Jiangsu with a designed production capacity of 1,200 t/a, which went into operation in May, 1988, and the Puji General Chemical Plant in Qingdao, Shandong Province (producing barium salts and strontium salts), and the Zhangjiaba Chemical Plant and Wutongqiao Salt Plant in Sichuan (producing strontium carbonate as a by-product of bittern).portable crusher:http://www.hx-crusher.com/mobile_crushing_station.html mobile impact crusher:http://www.crusher-machine.com/2.html
