Mindrolling Monastery: The meaning of this monastery is The Place of Perfect Emancipation and is a renowned monastery of the Nyingma sect. It is one of Indias largest Buddhist Viharas and was built in the year 1676. The temple is dedicated to Buddhist scriptures, Tibetan medicine, Tibetan lunar calendar, calligraphy and astronomy. The monastery is also considered to be an architectural wonder of Khochhen Rinpoche.
Chandrabani: Located on Delhi Road, Chandrabani is 7 kms away from the main town. The temple has a pond called Gautum Kund. According to mythology, it is believed that Ganga was seen from this spot. The name Gautum Kund also holds significance. Maharshi Gautam together with his wife and daughter Anjani lived here.
Tapovan: This is the place where Dronachrya had sought penance. Many sadhus and sages come here for atonement of their sins.
