My girlfriend wanted to see, and thought nothing of it when I first heard the "Oh great, another dumb movie that sunset beautiful girl"
Wow I was wrong!
This movie is a girl movie, is so deep and emotional survival, several days after I saw him, and I wonder if the only one who felt that the scenario was a bit ", as in Donnie Darko was written? Do not know how this everything came together and the players ... maybe it's just me.
But you must see this film when I sat down hereee I like it very well, but once the first two minutes the film started I was like, OK this has to be what I thought.
Managing a great movie, I see!
And certainly not trying to come to end before you can see, you will be destroyed.

Surprisingly good
After reading so many critical reviews, I was prepared for the worst. Yes I am a Pattinson fan, but I am also a stickler for a good, morose drama. Well I must say that this film provides a bit of both. Handsome and brooding, Pattinson honestly does a great job as a young man with a sort of screwed up life. I truly don't wish to give anything away but I urge people to just see it for themselves. The romance is believable and never over the top and while the pace isn't quick, it never drags. For me, the ending came out of nowhere and as soon as I saw it coming, I think I may have even gasped. Some people may find it random or contrived, but if you really think about it, it doesn't even matter. What happened, happened. I'll leave it at that.

Excellent story. Acting was very good and Pattinson is definitely emerging as more than "Edward". I liked the ending because we are so quick to forget that it was real people who died that Day. I have always liked De Ravin in Lost so it was fun to see her in another role. My only question is arn't there actress Pattinson's age out there instead of the parade of older women.

I saw Remember Me a while ago. Avatar was the big thing when my husband and I went to the theatre, but Rob Pattinson's film was what I wanted to see. I'm a huge Twilight saga book/film fan too and I just couldn't wait to see him do something else. RP is a rare find. He's going to be so hugely important in this profession. There's so much more to this guy and we're going to get to see all! He is so much more than his amazing face! The depth and nuances of his performance is there. It's a sometimes difficult and uncomfortable film to watch and then its touching, funny, tender, and beautiful too. There's so much to this film, that you just need to see it to understand. You leave the theatre wanting to talk about it. I'm going to own it so that I can see it over and over again. I'm one of those who has lost a husband & a brother tragically and could identify with Tyler and the harsh effects of such personal loss on family members. Needless to say, every emotion is felt at some point in this film. You get a real workout with these characters. I loved it! You will too. It's so real life. A huge Thank You to Rob Pattinson for making this film. You made me weep again over my lost loved ones and you reminded me of the beauty and preciousness of life!
