Remove Antivirus 7 Before The Virus Invades

, Antivirus 7 is rogue security software like so many other programs these days. Unfortunately, its your computer that suffers once the program enters your system, and youre certain to notice a difference almost immediately.
Close Relatives
Related to the Antivir Rogue family of rogue security programs, Antivirus 7 is almost as recognizable as any of those programs including Antivir, Antivir 2010, and Antivir Antivirus. As with its sibling programs, youll notice a fairly official looking interface as well as a shield that closely resembles the Windows Defender shield in the upper left corner of the program near the logo. Running down the left side, youll see all of your menu tabs as well as a set of statistics indicating when your last scan ran, when you last updated the program, and the type of license you have with the program.
Noticeable Changes
If Antivirus 7 is installed on your computer, there are several things you may notice right away. Initially, youll probably see a scan window come up when you start your computer. Often your machine wont allow you to run any other programs until the scan is finished. In almost every case, youll see some fairly scary results within that scan window. It usually lists the names of the supposedly infected files it finds, as well as the type of threat, the alert level for that threat, and the status of the threat itself. Once the scan is finished, it will let you know how many threats it has found, a bit of information about each threat, and the option to remove all of the threats. The single most important thing to remember about this particular program, however, is that all of the menacing files it has found on your computer are actually legitimate Windows files and processes. Removing them would permanently damage your system. Moreover, clicking on the Remove all Threats button at the end of each scan only leads you to a website where you can purchase the full version of the program.
In addition to the scan window, you may see several alert messages any time your computer is on. They appear in the form of pop up advertisements and Windows Notification balloons. Almost all of them appear in the form of a security warning. Most of the texts youll see read:

Always install latest updates to enhance your computer secutity and performance

As with the scan, clicking on the removal button here will do you very little good. Youll be directed to a site where you can purchase the full version of the program.
The Antivirus Myth
Many individuals write these kinds of programs off with the hope their current antivirus software will remove the program for them. This, however, simply isnt the case. Rogue security software like Antivirus 7 isnt classified as a virus, so theres little your resident antivirus shield can do to help protect you.
Many end up with Antivirus 7 on their computers thanks to a pop up advertisement on a website. Simply clicking on it installs the program, and whether you ended up with the program on your machine that way, or you actually downloaded and installed it with the hope it would be a nice compliment to your existing security software, removing Antivirus 7 is your best possible option.
