There are occasions when chiller rentals are necessary to cater for plant shutdowns for maintenance over either a season or only for a few days.

You can hire a rental chiller along with a portable diesel generator set. These generator sets could provide you with power going up to an output of 2000 kW. You would therefore have your own stand alone system of the chiller along with its independent power source. Chiller rentals could be accompanied with air handlers as well. These are available in the 20 ton range as well as the 100 ton range of air handlers that are also portable. There is nothing called emergency any more since you could dial up a chiller, a generator and an air handler anytime of the day or night any day of the week.
