The Canon Powershot G11 camera is a fantastic compact camera, and has all the good stuff from its predecessors. Canon has continuously been improving and adding on features to their G-series, and many will agree that this is their best camera to date. It is a very reliable camera, it takes great pictures, and can save a lot of photos at a time. One of the problems though is that, you cannot easily replace the battery when it is close to running out. This can pose a problem when you are trying to take photos and it is in low battery mode. The photos may not appear on the memory card.

When you notice that photos are missing from your Canon G11, stop using it immediately. You may still be able to retrieve photos, and you want definitely want to prevent from permanently deleting them. Let the software scan your memory card, while it is attached to your computer. You will then be able to see the photos that were lost before.
