In all of Office applications, tasks could be performed using a toolbar button or a menu command or a keyboard shortcut. A toolbar is a set of buttons that is used to perform specific tasks. The menu commands and tool bars, which are used more frequently, are placed on the short personal menu and on the overt part of the toolbar. Not only that, Microsoft also permitted patent rights to use or implement the binary formats for no cost. A version of Office Open XML has been the default binary file format since Micro soft Office 2007. This version of Office Open XML is quite different from the standard one,released by Ecma International. Patent rights to the formats technology have been granted by Microsoft under Open Specification Promise. Microsoft also provides down-loadable converters for earlier versions of Office.
