Resolving 'powerpoint Viewer Cannot Read ' Error While Opening Unpacked Presentation

PowerPoint presentations can be made ready to view on any computer by using the 'Pack and Go' feature

. This feature enables the user at the receiving end to open and view the presentation's content even if he has not installed the PowerPoint application on the system. This feature includes the PowerPoint Viewer so that you can play presentation on any computer. In PowerPoint 2000 and earlier versions, the feature is named as 'Pack and Go', while in later versions it is called as 'Package for CD'. However, at times when you receive an unpacked presentation and you try and open it using Microsoft PowerPoint viewer, you may not be able to do so. 1.Open your presentation in PowerPoint 2000.

3.On the Save tab, click to select PowerPoint Presentation from the Save PowerPoint files as:list.

4.Use Pack and Go again, and repack the presentation.
