Basically, a steady supply of filtered air is sent to a mask, which then filters out the particles that cannot be inhaled and provides the wearer with a supply of fresh air to breathe at all times. These respirators are available in many styles and sizes, and are one of the most common types of breathing products that people buy. Spray painting and other applications where particles are in air that is otherwise safe all require this type of mask.

Finally, you have the escape breathing device, which is specifically created to offer a temporary supply of fresh air in the event of an emergency. This typically comes in the form of a mask with a small canister that can provide a few minutes of good air so that you can get out of a situation. No matter what type of work environment you are in, there are respiration masks that you can find to give you the safety and peace of mind that you need to get the job done.
