After completing my graduation in mass communication I thought of doing freelancing writing. Freelancers earn a lot of money just by working at home. Me being a very lazy and adamant person, I always wanted to work free. I never liked the whole concept of working in a hierarchy. Then I never had to go through the hassle of reaching office on time and have to stay in office till you boss allows you to leave. I never liked these limitations while working.
Working continuously at a desk-bound job can lead to burnout, so freelancers can take breaks in between tasks for physical activities to infuse "play" into their workday. An indoor hoop, a pool table or a trampoline are just some ideas for a simple workout to break a sweat. To get even more creative, a wall-mounted shelf for a computer, stationed in front of a treadmill, may help creative juices flowing by working out while reading e-mails.
The work space of mine doesn't have to assume a "formal" look, especially for who enjoys creative edge. I feel free to decorate my office as I want it to be. Since I never report to a boss in a traditional sense, so I take the advantage of customizing my work space to best meet my needs of my morale. After all, I am the one who need to boost my own morale, as traditional boss doesn't exist to address my concerns about the job.
This job may sound a little risky especially when you are dealing with clients, but an upbeat, a creative service provider is always had a better welcomed than a demotivated and bland freelancer who simply lacks the freelancing drive.
So I gathered a lot of courage and started accepting few small freelance projects on writing and creating PowerPoint slides for the clients. I started with 4 projects a month which later became 8 to 10 and with that I managed myself to earn a pretty decent amount.
This other day I was working on this project of eLearning Concept, where I had to write few articles and have to make few PowerPoint slides for the company. And I had a week's time (7 days to be specific) to finish my work. On 6th day morning I finished my whole work and saved it in My Documents.
I was pretty excited about it as it's very rare to get a huge project for a struggling writer. I went to celebrate this with my friends. After coming back home I switched on my system to mail the whole project to myself as a backup. And I suddenly end up deleting them all. That was the end. I thought the time stopped then n there.
I checked my recycle bin and there I saw nothing. I then realized that I Shift deleted everything. I was hopeless and felt like killing myself. I had no chance of doing everything in a night. I called my friend so that she can come home and help me a little bit with my work, when she told me to consult some technician who can restore my work back.
All I was wondering, it that possible. As I always knew that if you delete something from your recycle bin you never get it back. But she asked me to call this number +800 237 3901 (iYogi) to get tech support. I instantly called them and they assured me to get my all work back. All they had to do is PC restore.
They took few details from me as for their records and then took an hour's remote session of my computer. Installed a software application called "Support Dock" and ran through the PC restore.
I spent just about an hour n half with them and I got my all work back. Thanks to iYogi. Then the next morning I mailed eLearning Concept my work and they really liked it. All happened because of iYogi.
