Restoring Windows 7 Partition from a System Image: Some Useful Tips

In this situation most of the people think that all the other is exhausted

, and the only way available to save your computer is to restore it from a system image.

First thing, you have to do is booting from System Repair Disc. Go off it in the CD drive, now you will find a screen which tells press any key to boot system'. This screen clears that BIOS is ready to boot the system from CD-ROM

When the System Repair Disc commences your computer screen will show a message Windows is loading files'

After loading the files, the System Recovery Options screen will appear. In this page, you have to select the correct keyboard input and the after doing that just click the next.

Then System Recovery starts to search the Windows installation(s) which you have stored on your computer hard drive.

After that you have select Restore your computer using a system image you created earlier and then click the Next option.

Soon after, you can see information about the last system image which you have stored on external hard drives. If you need an old system image, then click on select system image' option and then search all the older images till you get the right one. This option is very helpful as it helps to restore all the information, how it was before the crash. Select use latest available system imageand follow it with by clicking next'.

The next step is clicking next' on the following screen

In the finally step, the screen will show a quick overview of selected system images. If you think everything is correct then click on the finish' button.

Then comes up a warning message, just click yes to this screen.

After this the restoring process will commence. Completion of this restore process takes and it is depends on the volume of the selected system image. The time taken also depends on the quantity of data in the system. After completing the process successfully, the system will restart and it is restored.
