It's a known fact that sports of any kind can play a pivotal role in the better development and nourishment of an individual while keeping him fit for life. When it comes to authority sports like cricket, football (to some extent locally), tennis, hockey, boxing and basketball, Pakistan has so far produced some of the globally recognized well-popular names in different fields of sports, because the people of the country have a lot of potential to grow in different teams sports.

Going deep into cricket, we can easily locate many of the big cricket giants like Imran Khan the hero of his tenure, Waseem Akram one of the best bowlers of his times, Muhammad Yousuf and Shahid Afridi the best of all players.

When it comes to the history of cricket in Pakistan, the people of the country has always been fond of playing cricket in streets, grounds, roads and even in their homes since it originated.

Even the founder of Pakistan, Mr. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a great fond of playing cricket. Similarly, the former prime minister and president of the country, Mr. Nawaz Shareef and Pervez Musharraf respectively were also the big fans of this game.

Pakistani cricket has always been encouraged by all the entities including its government, because they believe that like the country's national game (hockey), cricket is another big sport that can be considered country's national game because of the charm people have for it.

Coming to boxing, it reveals globally renowned boxer, Muhammad Ali who has been winning big titles for Pakistan in several boxing championships. Similarly, there are also some big names in the field of squash, badminton and basketball.

Coming to the main point, sports of various types have a bright future in Pakistan, because people of every kind are much into it and they keep on doing certain things to project their desired sports while celebrating certain events.

History of the Indo-Pak reveals that authority sports like cricket have been quite popular in this region for the last so many years, as it was the region which was the only passage to enter any part of the world.

So, different conquerors during their times have been trying to promote different games in this region. Perhaps, that is the possible reason; this region is much into cricket and other sports.

Finally, the people of Pakistan have a big spirit for teams sports to promote their champions.
