Every year, a new crop of golfers arrives at Augusta National. This year, that group goes 20 deep, 10 of which we have highlighted.

Time will tell how these golfers fare, but they certainly have their work cut out for them. Only three players have ever won the Masters on their first try, and two of those wins happened in the tournament's first three years. Fuzzy Zoeller was the last to accomplish the feat in 1979.

There is no doubt that every golfer wants to know how to hit a golf ball straight. The major challenge is that the driver is probably the most difficult clubs to master. As a general rule, the longer the club, the harder it is to use properly. But that's not to say it's impossible to learn how to hit a golf ball straight, you'll just need a few tips and lots of consistent practice.

The very best shot off the tee is one that imparts little backspin to the ball, has a low trajectory, and has enough power to continue rolling once it hits the ground. If you can get all that happening, you will be hitting the ball longer and straighter, and your game will improve significantly.

Rickie Fowler is an American professional golfer. He was the number one ranked amateur golfer in the world for 36 weeks in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, Fowler made his second and last appearance in the Walker Cup. He won all four matches he played in as the U.S. won by a seven point margin.

The biggest name of all the first-timers this year, Fowler will be trying to make his first PGA Tour win a major. It would be fun to watch it happen just to see how much the green jacket clashes with his standard bright orange Sunday outfits.
