Methocarbamol (Robaxacet) is use for relaxing the discomfort or pain caused in the muscle. This medication works by blocking the pain sensation or the nerve impulse that is connected to the brain which creates the feeling of pain in the muscles of the body. This medication does not directly affects the muscle in order to ease the pain caused in the muscles. It helps to treat the muscle pain by performing exercise and rest therapy together.

How should I take this medication?

This medication should be used as per the dosage and the frequency suggested by the doctor. The patient should go for regular check ups in order to see whether or not the medication is performing well. Do not skip the medication, make a regular timing for taking this medicine. If you forget to take this medication, take it immediately if there is time for your regular schedule. The patient should check the direction given on the label of the medication. Consult your doctor if you experience any uncommon or side effects. Your doctor might also need to change the dosage and frequency based on how your body responds to the drug. Do not expose Robaxacet medication to heat, light and moisture always keep in dry and cool place. The patient may have Robaxacet side effects such as insomnia, feeling, dizzy, tiredness, slight symptoms of nausea, wakefulness, loss of memory, blur vision, blocked nose, formation of rashes or itchy feeling, increase of body temperature, fever, head pain and formation of red color skin or prickly feeling of skin. The patient needs to see the doctor immediately if he feels the signs of allergic reaction such as formation of rashes in the skin, change of appearance of skin color into red, finding difficulty while breathing, swelling or pain inside the throat, swelling of face, lips and tongue. This medication may also cause some serious side effects such as unconditional heart beat rate, unconsciousness, the skin or eye may change its color into yellow (jaundice), nervousness, feel like spinning, difficult to balance and convulsions.

What precautions do I need to follow while using Robaxacet?

Make sure you also let your doctor know if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant before using this medication for this medication can damage the unborn baby. Do not take Robaxacet Drug if you are allergic to it or its components and seek medical advice before using the medicine. Lactating mothers should consult their doctor before using Robaxacet medication for it can pass into the breast milk and might harm the nursed child.
