Robinson Is Giant In Celtics Victory Over Magic To Win Nba Eastern Conference Crown

Finals the Celtics are banking on its big three in its best of seven series against the very tough Orlando Magic. The Celtics through the heroics of its big three sharpshooting forward Ray Allen, reliable forward Paul Pierce and veteran superstar power-forward Kevin Garnett and rising point-guard Rajon Rondo to take a 3-2 lead against the Magic. In game six of the exciting NBA Eastern Conference Finals the Magic through its superstar center Dwight "Superman" Howard tried its best to win against the Celtics at the home-court of the latter.

Magic high-flying forward veteran superstar Vince Carter helped Howard in trying to get a win on the home-floor of the Celtics with his clutch shooting and defence. The Celtics big-three and Rondo as always carry the cause of the team against the spirited offence of the Magic. However, in the crucial game of the series wherein the Magic needs a win to extend the series into a game seven the Celtics got a much needed boost from an unlikely player to finally end the hope of their Eastern Conference rival and barge into the NBA Finals. Seldom used and newly acquired former New York Knicks point-guard Nate Robinson played like a giant despite his small frame in the Celtics 96-84 victory against the Magic to advance to the NBA Finals this year.

Robinson who is not part of the regular rotation of the Celtics scored 13 big points to help in the Celtics victory and end the hope of the Magic for a comeback in the series. Pierce top scored for the Celtics with 31 points and 13 rebounds but it was the important points of Robinson that really matter in the victory against the Magic.Celtics coach Doc Rivers credited the big plays of the big three and Rondo for their win but he gave special mention on the Herculean effort of Robinson.

Rivers said Robinson really played big for the team despite not getting the required minutes that he deserved. The veteran Celtics coach said he admired the way Robinson played since he just came out from the bench blazing hot to frustrate and eventually beat the Magic in their game. With their victory, the Celtics barged into the NBA Finals this year and gets the chance to take the 18th championship for the NBA franchise.
