It does not dry the hands like conventional chalk and also includes many essential oils that soothe the hands and prevent growth of bacteria on them. The use of chalk is not restricted to rock climbing; it finds great use in gym and sports like gymnastics, weightlifting and all such sports that require the player to have a good grip.
Thus, chalk is not just a supporting material but a very essential component of the rock climbing kit. Finally, if you are a starter, it is better to try climbing at less risky places and take the proper training and tips from experienced climbers before you start climbing on your own.
