Roger Waters Tickets - The Wall Of Waters Always Has A Meaning

Thirty years have passed, but the album "The Wall" still has a special meaning in the world of rock ..

So to commemorate the anniversary of The Wall, Waters will present on tour in the fall, the music of the concept album with a new staging that will present history, freely inspired from his own life - for a new generation.

The tour will begin Sept. 15 at Toronto and will continue until December, with stops at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa (October 17) and the Bell Centre in Montreal (October 19).Roger Waters does not wish, however, not simply to wipe the spectacle as did Pink Floyd decades ago.

He maintains that what he finds exciting in the idea of bringing back "The Wall" to stage is how the new technology allows him to do things he could not dreamed of in the 1980s and 1990s.

The tour promises to be a grand theatrical experience, but what matters most for Waters, is the social and political commentary of the album, which is still relevant today, he said.

"When we were doing, at that time, it was after the end of the Vietnam War, and we are currently in the midst of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. There in" The Wall "an anti-war message powerful that existed then and still exists today, "he said.

Waters plans to pay tribute during the show, the soldiers who lost their lives not only in the recent wars, but also in other conflicts.
