With the technology today, computers are created that are helping people to make things easier and faster. Computers are considered as the most valuable invention ever in the history. With computers we are able to make our daily lives easier and much comfortable. As a matter of fact, computers are already part of the lives of most of us and without it, we cannot function well.

There are a lot of industries wherein computers play a very much important role automation. Computers are needed in order to make processes automated. An example would be in the supermarkets and groceries wherein they use an automated Point-Of-Sale system. Instead of manually computing for the items bought by the customer, they use barcodes and scanners to automatically compute for how much the buyer's bill is. In this sense, computer has helped to make things much easier and more convenient but most of all FASTER. Imagine the saleslady manually computing for your groceries, how long would it take?

Another example is in the manufacturing industry wherein companies use computers to control their programmable logic controllers to perform specific tasks. Using computers and PLCs, companies are able to create products much faster and accurately thus increasing their productivity.

In offices, computers are very much important especially in creating documents. With computers office workers are able to edit, copy, paste, save, and print documents easily. Computers also enable the company to save on space since there is no longer a need for file cabinets because all the important files can now be saved on the computer.

At home, computers are used to search the internet, to send and receive emails, and to connect with friends via social networking sites. Computers are also very much important among students when they are having their researches. Computers really are wonderful technological advancement that is why we need to use them the right way.
