From a macroscopic, national perspective, the prices of the properties are dependent on the extent of development achieved in a particular region of the country. Traditionally, there has been a big different between the prices of properties from one city of the country to the other. But, with the emergence of national players in this field, there has been a reduction in the price disparity in the properties from one region to the other.
For one, the national level players have their projects spread out over the different parts of the country. By virtue of their extensive reach, they are in a better position to make comparisons of the extent of development in different parts of the country and hence apply the price differentials. Over a period of time, these players tend to even out the prices of the properties in different locations, reducing their price differential substantially. At the same time, certain minimum differential is always kept to maintain the distinction among the classes of properties such as the BPTP resort Faridabad and the Gurgaon or Delhi projects.
By having a national presence, another major advantage lies in having the knowledge of the market. With good knowledge and spread, it becomes possible to charge more at premier locations and less at a relatively disadvantageous locations. Thus, they are able to handle the competition in a much better manner.
This reducing differential in the prices of real-estate projects has meant that the buyers now do not have the advantage of big difference in prices of properties of different regions. So, this means that they can not expect to sell expensive in one city and buy cheap in another at a phenomenal price difference. You will find that the prices are hovering around the same bracket for similar properties in different cities of the country, save for some marginal difference which is essential to keep up the distinction. What a 2 or 3 BHK apartment such as BPTP resort will be costing in the Greater Faridabad region, you can expect similar prices in other parts of the country, be it Hyderabad or other places.
Due to these reasons, it is commonly said that the national level players in the real estate business have been instrumental in reducing the price gaps in properties throughout the country.
