Since the boutique hotel opened on the northern tip of the island back in 2008, it has hosted many St Lucia weddings and marriage proposals, and it was also the venue for the U.S. TV show, The Bachelor in 2010.

Couples have a choice of romantic settings for their destination weddings at Cap Maison including a gazebo decorated with flowers on Smugglers Point with views overlooking the sparkling ocean; the private ocean terrace of Rock Maison where brides and grooms will be surrounded by ocean waves on three sides and champagne can be sent down via zip wire from the restaurant; and the villa roof top terrace, with stunning panoramic views of the sea and the Caribbean island.

The property is great for small, intimate St Lucia weddings, or couples can take over the whole hotel and invite all of their friends and family to enjoy the special occasion.

Professional wedding coordinators are on hand to assist with the planning of the big day. They can arrange photographers, music, catering, flowers and even a lawyer who can visit Cap Maison to ensure couples have the required paperwork.

The resorts basic wedding package costs 885 and includes a ceremony on the private ocean-front bluff, a decorated gazebo, bridal bouquet and grooms boutonniere with fresh flowers, rose petal confetti, recorded music, and all legal documents.

Brides and grooms can choose the Exclusively Yours wedding which gives them exclusive use of the resort for a few days enabling couples to celebrate privately with friends and family. The hotels 50 rooms and facilities are all available for the wedding party and guests can enjoy a welcome cocktail party and a day trip on the 46-foot Cap Maison I private luxury yacht for up to 14 guests.

Bookings for the Exclusively Yours package must be for at least three days and rates start from 16,000 per day.

Couples booking Caribbean weddings and honeymoons at Cap Maison can take advantage of a year round promotion that offers 50 per cent off the bridal suite, plus complimentary extras such as a bottle of champagne on arrival, a three-course candle-lit dinner, an in-room full champagne breakfast, a one hour couples massage, and a sunset cruise Cap Maison I with drinks.

When attending beautiful and private weddings abroad at the resort, couples and their guests can enjoy access to a pristine white sand beach; gourmet food and breathtaking views in the hotels restaurant; beautifully-appointed suites (some with private pools); a lavish spa; and a range of activities such as cooking classes, snorkelling scuba diving, and kitesurfing.
