Phoenix Roofers seem to be getting more backlogged each passing day.
There are all kinds of roofing companies that have sprung up in the last few months in the phoenix area. This is because of the massive hailstorm that struck the Phoenix Area on October 5, 2010. The hail storm caused enormous wide spread damage.
There were so many claims filed for hail damaged houses that Adjuster at one point were taking weeks to show up for inspections. It is estimated there will be somewhere around 150,000 claims to come out of the recent hail storms. The catastrophe teams from the insurance companies have been flown into Phoenix to help speed up the process.
This has helped speed up the claims process in Phoenix, but there are still many more claims to be filed. One Insurance company unofficially stated that they are still receiving over 200 new claims a day. They went on to say that many new people are finding out they have damage and had no idea, as their neighbors put in claims.
According to one adjuster, this is the most wide spread storm he has seen in years. Not only for this state but nation wide this is one of the largest hail storms in years. This makes for a lot of restoration work because of the Hail damage.

There are a growing number of people that seem to be upset because they have signed contracts weeks ago and havent heard from their roofer since. Many roofing companies are already booked out up to 3 months before they can get to any new roofs.
This is due to the aggressive sales tactics of many of the companies that unfortunately do not have a crew to build the roofs they have contracted in a timely manner. This does not have to be the case as some roofing companies are still able to build roofs with substantially less wait time.
