Our Designo R7 roof windows in timber are supplied as standard sizes 7/9 and 7/11.

This conforms to the Approved Document B which states that an unobstructed openable area of at least 0,33 m and at least 450 mm high and 450 mm wide to be acceptable as emergency egress window. Therefore, a 7/9 with an openable area of 0,34 m 450 mm in hight and 664 mm in width can be used as a means of escape roof window.
