Base your financial expectations on your current and future skill levels.

How many hours per week are you willing to spend on this online opportunity? If you think that you can get into any opportunity expecting to make a lot of money without putting in a lot of time, then forget about it. That's how I felt when I first got started because I believed all the garbage from people promising the world. It won't happen. So even if this is a top home based business opportunity such as Royal Cruise Matrix, you will have to work hard to succeed.

To me the most important thing that you should take a serious look at is who your sponsor will be.

This will probably make or break your success with any opportunity. Talk to them, visit their website or watch their videos. Get a feel for them, do they seem like honest people who will work to help you? Do you have similar ideas on how to build a business?
