The racecourse has been built in the style of a figure eight. This flat course is the only such course in the country. The racecourse itself spans up to a little more than a mile and a half with a straight run towards the end after passing five furlongs. The spectators are afforded three different positions from where the race can be viewed. These are the Grandstand Enclosure with its spectacular outlook over the track and end post, the Club Enclosure which is situated right next to the end post and the Silver Ring Enclosure which is the only place where people can come prepared for a picnic if the need arises. The entire year holds 26 race days and many of these races are themed during the summer time, making it a fun and exciting experience for the entire family.
