Because of the terrible recent fiscal climate numerous people have been laid off
work through no failing of their own...merely a group of bad conditions...they are now scratching their heads thinking where now? In the back of their mind they have been cogitating - "should I set up my own motorcycle business?" But where do you go for guidance like that?
So how do you run a new venture? You've continually been the one who is told what to do. Now the shoe is truly on the other foot - you give out the orders now. But what guidelines do you give to your staff? What tells do you transmit? How do you know if what you are saying or doing is the correct thing for your new motorcycle business? It was stress-free before...the boss spoke...and you fulfilled what he/she said then you got salaried at the end of the day. Having your own venture is a little harder, if you get things off beam now, not only will you not get rewarded (or get rewarded less), your decisions could impact harmfully upon your workers.
This is finally it; you've completed the jump and you are operating your own business. This is the moment in time when you need to truly focus on what you want for your business and your life. Try to keep the two at a distance as much as possible...this can be really testing for most people in particular if you now work from home a lot. Keep in mind though the whole point of working for yourself is to better your life in it's entirety. Don't let the new business be "An Albatross around your neck"...it is there to get you the rewards you have always wanted.
However the large bank balance helps!
For your own personal respect; picture the feeling you have compared to being in an everyday job or no job at all. It is a lot more simpler to get out of bed at daybreak knowing you are building a business for yourself and your immediate family; you're doing it for your boss - who you might not even like.
Folk have varying reasons for fitting into the shape of an an entrepreneur - every one is different; and as such you will no doubt desire to do things in a better way than you have seen exhibited by other bosses in earlier jobs you have had.
Magnificent motorcycle businesses are planned that way by people just like you. Entrepreneurs do well because they plan to victorious, they take the means to work out how they want their business to be; they plan it that way and take enormous pleasure as their venture and their life begins to match their dreams.
