SBSC Signs Joint Venture with Santa Rosa City

Spectrum Blue Steel Corporation (SBSC) and Santa Rosa Nueva Ecija finally signed

a joint venture agreement regarding the deployment of the biosphere process system or biosphere machines in the city. Hon. Mayor Josefino Angeles, SBSC President Francisco Delgado, TGEG President John Lamb and Vice Mayor Irene S. Bernardo signed the agreement on December 2009 with more than 300 people attended the event including True Green Energy Group (TGEG) affiliates. The contract was approved under local government code of 1991 (R.A. No. 7160) and the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 (R.A. No. 9003).

The term of the SBSC and Santa Rosa contract is for twenty five years with the provision that the both parties can extend the contract by mutual agreement. SBSC has agreed to develop, finance, design, manage and engineer the new biosphere gasification facility which will greatly help the waste management system in the city. The municipality of Santa Rosa however also agreed that they will buy the site, give access, and provide 100% right of way for the deployment of the biosphere machine. The biosphere facility site is located at Barangay Soledad Santa Rosa Nueva Ecija with two hectares of land. In addition, SBSC will collect all the relevant tipping fees for the collection of the Municipal Solid Wates (MSW), added to recycling and pelletizing of the garbage for power generation.

The biosphere process system or biosphere technology is an invention of Dr. Chris McCormack, the CEO and Chairman of Global Environmental Energy Corporation (GEECF). The technology uses gasification process wherein it destroys wastes converting it into green electricity or green energy. Moreover, the whole biosphere process will also produce other end products such as pozzolanic ash, high alloy steel wire, carbon black and distilled water.
