There are many studies which suggest a very important fact that lesser breast feeding
your baby can result in the higher risk of schizophrenia but of course the stats are comprehensive for sure. Many studies also show that there is actually not any of risk whether you breast fed your baby or not. If you really believe in the former study then you should breast feed your babies in general way to be on the "safer side". It is recommended that you must breast feed your child for about 6 months if you can not go on a longer time period. It has been found out that the females who breast feed their child have better and incremented mental health.
The Breast milk is a natural sources which is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids for an instance, the milk contains arachidonic acid (AA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), these two elements are essential in the development of the nerves and brain. Moreover, many researches have also shown that the polyunsaturated fatty acids is present in the diet can actually aid in improving the mental sickness symptoms along with that it can also save against aggravation due to such signs.
The breast milk of a female consists of long-chain of the polyunsatured fatty acids which are for sure important in the growth of the central nervous system. This feature is not present in the formula milks. Therefore, the thing is that if the breast milk is the highly proficient food for the development of nervous system and the schizophrenia is the neural problem then it can be said that the people who are suffering from schizophrenia in the adulthood may have not been fed by their mothers in proper amount.
