I had been working as a part time link builder and SEO for a while and in no way

would've thought that there is so much to find out about this particular job. Demanding but thrilling, what could be a better expression to label it. Directory and Social bookmarking submission were always pieces of my every day task. At first it wasn't that clear why am I supposed to submit links on each directory sites as well as on those listing of social bookmarking sites, but as I persisted to sort out the world of Search Engine Optimization, I became aware of the fact that this is pretty much rewarding.

I would've to encourage owners of newly developed websites or online shops to step into directory submission if it's valid customers or prospect clients is all they need to go to see their sites. Once people tries to search for a particular product or entry, proper indexing and high quality back links will guide them to your online shop and directory submission can give you this promising staging online.

What about social bookmarking? Aren't directory submission enough?

Search engine optimization does not work on directory submission alone; there are still lots of work to do to optimize your site, so as to compete with others which belong to the same niche as yours. Most SEO expert adhere to the method of social bookmarking, not only for indexing but for a better traffic results. These social bookmarking sites helps SEO promote their blogs, articles, sites and online shops, thus providing great amount of visitors to your sitemore visitors means more income, right?.

Social bookmarking and directory submission is one of the simplest and most convenient ways to ensure that your website is evident and promoted in its circle. Most social bookmarking sites can be overwhelming at times, based on my experiences with them. In fact, the trafficked I get on my sites came from social bookmarking sites, such as mixx.com, dig.com, faves.com, stumbleupon.com, and reddit.com. But it doesn't suggest that you'll only have to resolve on those lists, all because there are still hundreds and more. Again, I'll have to strike a chord that when you submit, do it manually or if you're using a special tool for submission, certify that you're placing your link on the appropriate category. Don't settle on quantity but make better more on quality because your website depends on how admirable you were able to produce its back links.
