SETTING UP YOUR FIRST DATES

Real romance is an art that requires constant monitoring and fine-tuning. After meeting a girl, the next set of dates would determine if your girl would stay or not. In fact, the most important is the first to the tenth date. If you really want to keep your girl, then you have to follow the steps outlined below.

Your first date

The location of your first date would depend on a number of factors. One of this is what you want to do. Also, the volume of what you know about your woman is another important factor. If all you want is to know her better or maybe increase the bond between the two of you a bit, then, a restaurant or a coffee shop that would not give too much distraction. You should take note that you want to get to know her better. However, if you think that you have known her enough, then a place that would offer much fun would be okay, especially, somewhere much stimulating. You can take her outdoors for mountaineering, swimming or hiking. Never go to a movie or a theatre. They are just a waste of time. You should be talking to her instead.

The second date

If you think that you like your woman after the first date, then you can set up a second date. Personally, I get ideas for the second date from the first date. For example, if she says that she likes surfing, then say, "We should do it together sometime." At times, asking a woman out on a second date while on a first date is good. But I have found out that it works better if you wait a bit. In this way, you would not seem desperate and she would start wondering if she would ever see you again. You can even go as far as denying her when she invites you to her house. This is really important if you intend keeping her for a very long time. The faster you get together, the faster you fall apart. So, take things slowly. The patient dog eats the fatest bone, remember!

The first 10 12 weeks of being together

This is the honeymoon stage and it is usually fun and exciting. This should be the happiest period of your lives. I am not saying that you should not be happy in other periods. You must use this period to really have fun with your woman. The two of you should go out and do really wild, crazy stuffs together. However, I must emphasize that you MUST NOT let your guard down because you are going steady with her. You must keep her attracted to you. Two points I want to leave at this stage: (1) Keep her attracted to you by remaining a challenge, and (2) Be romantic and take good care of your woman. This way, she will feel protected.

The knowing each other well period (14 weeks and above)

To avoid some serious problems during this period, both parties have to be flexible and be ready to make compromises. After getting to know each other well, you may discover that your blonde goddess was not much of a princess after all. It is here that you now notice that some of your fundamental principles are different. Be FLEXIBLE and make COMPROMISES. Remember, Love is a two way thing. Avoid selfishness and be ready to work things out in case any untoward situation arises. However, it is important that you keep her attracted to you always.
