For students appearing in SNAP 2010, it is important that they understand SNAP paper. SNAP 2010 analysis is important to learn about the type of questions that will appear in SNAP exam. Candidates should get previous year questions papers and SNAP answer key. After solving previous year sample papers, they can refer to SNAP answer key to find out how they scored. As per SNAP 2010 analysis, the paper will have four sections. The duration of the test will be 2 hours and the questions will be objective type having four options out of which candidate have to mark the correct response. There will be negative marking in the paper and students shall avoid answering questions they are not sure about. 25% marks will be deducted for incorrect answer. The paper will test students in the four areas of General English, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

Section wise SNAP 2010 Analysis

The English section will have questions related to Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability. Based on previous year paper, this section on General English have questions on usage idiomatic use, Spellings, Grammar, error Identification, Sentence Correction, arrangement of jumbled sentences, reading comprehension.

Quantitative and Data Interpretation section has questions n Arithmetic, Number Puzzles, Visual reasoning, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency. However, previous year paper had no questions on Data Sufficiency.

The General Awareness section includes questions on General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Business Scenario. Last year paper had questions on Definitions, Economy, Acronyms, History, Sport, Science and Current Affairs. SNAP 2010 key to score good in this section is to read newspaper regularly.

The analytical and logical reasoning section has questions on Strengthen & Weaken Arguments, Number Logic, Conclusions, Analogies, Coding Decoding, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Letter Series. This paper had least number of questions but the maximum weightage in terms of marks. The total marks for this section is 60. So, it is important that students spend more time on this section compared to other sections where the total marks are 40 per section.

There were four sections in 2009 paper as per SNAP analysis. There were 40 questions each in 3 sections. Each question carried one mark each. There were 30 questions in Analytical and Logical Reasoning Section and each question carried 2 marks each in this section.

SNAP Cutoff

Each participating institute has its own SNAP cutoff. SNAP cutoff is high for top institutes like SIBM, PUNE and SCMHRD. SNAP 2010 key to score well in the difficult section is to focus on easier questions without wasting time on difficult questions that are time consuming and complicated.
