Saddlebags They're Not Bad Things: Tthe Reasons to Have Them!

I was at a local Motorcycle superstore and looking at some of the newest and latest gadgets for riders through all the aisles. I admit, I was also drooling over all the motorcycles for sale in the showroom as well. As I was looking at the newest accessories I ambled over to the front parking lot of the store to partake in a soft-drink (this motorcycle shop has a little grilling area for bikers to stop and eat while on runs through the area).

While out front, I watched a pair of casual riders walk out of the store and in their hands seemed to be a good handful of purchased shirts, bandanas, and a jacket. It looked like quite a haul, and I know the salesperson inside the store was smiling from ear-to-ear from this sale.

As I watched them walk over to their bikes I immediately saw why they were so happy with their purchases. The bulk of their purchases could have easily fit in a small trunk. But, aside from the great deals of the sale prices was also the fact that their bikes were set-up with the newest Motogear saddlebags. Between the two riders they were able to fit the whole small-trunk purchase in the saddlebags and most importantly secure the valuable items and buy a burger and soda for a quick break.

That's the importance of decking out your motorcycle for the road. Not just the look, but also the convenience. I thought about it for a bit, but without the Motogear saddlebags what would they have done with those items? Put them in a backpack? They didn't have one when they walked into the store. How would they secured those items so they could have their hands free?

Maybe it seems trivial but the right accessories on any ride makes the difference in convenience in getting items, storing, or securing the things you need for the trip. Also, what dawned on me as well, those particular saddlebags did make their bikes look good.
