Safe And Secure Pets When Driving
When you take your pet dog on a journey one of the things that can easily get forgotten is security
. It's great to remember water bottles, food, dog blanket and lead but what on earth are you doing about the travelling time? Have you given thought to dog safety and security? What about dog guards? Would you feel safe travelling without safety and comfort?
It isn't that dog owners who take their pets in cars do not love or want to take care of their pets. Most dog owners in this country are real dog lovers and enjoy their pets. Most owners are responsible citizens, ensuring their pets have fresh air and regular exercise, however small or large the creature is. When people own a dog, they do need to think about veterinary care, whether with orthodox veterinary measures or with more natural alternative therapies. These are becoming increasingly popular under the right qualified practitioner. Britain is renowned as a nation of dog lovers and it is common that owners, for the most part, adhere to these measures, looking after their pets to the optimum standard that they can.
It makes sense, too, to think about dog guards as a standard measure for safety when travelling by car with your dog, even on a short journey to the local high street. Dog guards can be purchased for most makes and models of cars and make fantastic relevant accessories for drivers and their families which are by no means a gimmick.
If you suddenly need to brake for any reason, then your dog will be much safer, contained within its own space. This is better than sitting more precariously on a car seat or bench where it can easily fall off and be seriously injured. Dogs are sensitive creatures and feel insecurity and often cannot fully transmit this to you. They may look comfortable enough on a seat but feel nervous, simply putting all their trust in you as the driver, to arrive at the destination without mishap. Therefore, it is also highly likely that dogs, whose car driving owners install guards, will immediately sense the greater feeling of comfort and security. They will have their own space which dogs love and feel much calmer.
This is also much better for the driver, who will be less distracted by any movements, noises or concern about their pet. Other road users are also less likely to be distracted too which can happen particularly at road junctions or traffic lights.
