Doing proper research can be quite beneficial as you can learn a lot about a persons negative history and bad reputation if they have one of course. If someone refuses to answer some basic questions about themselves then perhaps you should reconsider going out with this person. Being mysterious is quite romantic, but in a situation like this it can seem very eerie and dangerous and some might even see it as something very ominous.

These devices are quite inexpensive and can help you protect against aggressive attackers. It is also highly recommended that you ask a friend to come along and stay nearby. These devices can also trigger an emergency signal so you will be able to quickly send a message that something is wrong. Finally, you can always arrange a double date or something similar with two friends who would gladly go out with you to a movie theater or whatever you had in mind originally.
