Then, you can continue to give some basic understanding to your children about proper way in using internet. First, tell them that they should not share any personal information such as name, address, phone number, age, schools, and much other personal information. If they have email or any account in some social network sites such as Twitter, Facebook, or Friendster, tell them not to share they password except with you as their parent.

Sometimes, internet users might get any mean and threatening email or instant messages. If this problem happens to your children, tell them not to give any responses. Sending any personal picture to someone they do not know is also dangerous, so make sure that you explain this aspect as well.

Especially for parents whose children learn chatting via internet connection, you have to explain that those online people might not tell the truth about themselves. So, tell them not to believe someone they meet from chat groups or else directly. Besides, tell them not to accept any invitation from any of online people because it will be very dangerous for their safety.

Those important tips will work well as long as you give great assistance for them in getting any new things from internet. Therefore, the most important thing to determine the safety of your children during their internet browsing activity is your help and your care.
