Safer driving in Aberdeen is given massive support from Commercial vehicle businesses!

Regions within Aberdeen are being supported by commercial vehicle businesses in a campaign aimed at encouraging motorists to drive to the legal speed limit because many drivers do not realise that there are differing limits for different types of vehicle.

Clark commercials, Aberdeen Van Centre and Budget rental are all a part of the John Clark Motor group who are getting behind North East Safety Camera Partnership (NESCAMP) to promote safer driving. Speed awareness stickers are being displayed within Volkswagen rental fleet vehicles.

The campaign is aimed at making the roads a safer place for all users. By giving more awareness to speed limits and ultimately encouraging drivers to keep to appropriate levels NESCAMP hopes to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on Grampian's roads. The speed awareness stickers provide a useful reference for drivers who are unsure of the speed limits or are not experienced in driving on UK roads.

Julie Smith, Partnership Manger of NESCAMP stated that they are delighted that the stickers will be displayed within John Clark Group's vehicles and that it is vitally important that drivers understand that speed limit varies for different kinds of vehicle including the Volkswagen van.

Managing Director, John Clark has stated that the company is very happy to support this latest initiative and that it's important to remind drivers of the speed limits to help keep our roads safer.

The displayed stickers are a valuable source of information for rental customers who are not always as familiar with the speed restrictions when driving a commercial vehicle. To reinforce the safety message, each of the Volkswagen commercial vehicles businesses are promoting NESCAMP drive safety campaigns within their showroom.
